Besides applying for visa to Vietnam at Vietnam Embassy, international travelers now can enjoy a much more convenient way to get Vietnam visa which is applying for visa online.

With this option, applicants will receive “Visa Approval Letter” via email and get Vietnam visa stamped on their passports at 3 International Vietnam airports upon arrival (including Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi, Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang International Airport in Da Nang City).

How Visa on Arrival works?

Please be noted that visa on arrival is not available for all those who travel to Vietnam by air. Therefore, if you are not a Hong Kong passport holders, please check visa requirements before applying. If your nationality hasn’t been supported VOA, the ONLY way for you is to obtain for a visa at Vietnam Embassy
Submit the online application for a visa approval letter
The travel agent who is providing online visa service functions as a connection between you and the Vietnam Immigration Department for visa approval letter processing. When applying visa on arrival with VietnamVisa.hk, you can fill out the online application form; then wait for 1 or 2 working days to get the approval letter issued by the Immigration Department of Vietnam.
Get the visa approval letter sent back to you by email
After 2 working days (normal processing) or 1 working day (urgent processing), Vietnamvisa.hk will send you the visa approval letter via email (stating your name, nationality, date of arrival and date of exit), along with detailed guidelines for your necessary document preparation to obtain a full visa stamp at the arrival airport in Vietnam.
Get visa stamped upon arrival
Show all the prepared documents (visa approval letter, original passport, entry and exit form, 1 passport-sized photo and stamping fee in US Dollar) to the Immigration Officer at Vietnam airport then get visa stamped onto you passport. Welcome to Vietnam!

There are two kinds of fee one should pay when applying for visa on arrival to Vietnam:

Service fee (paid to the travel agency processing your visa approval letter), and;

Stamping fee (paid directly to the Immigration Officer at arrival airports to have your visa stamp

Service fee is the fee you pay to us for doing all the paperwork for you to submit your visa application to the Vietnam Immigration Department for processing your visa approval letters, including the following works:

Receive and check your visa information via our website;

Contact you for reviewing your visa information;

Submit your application on your behalf to Vietnam Immigration Department;

Notify you of the visa approval letter processing schedule via email;

Follow other procedures pursuant to the regulations of Immigration Department to get Visa approval letter granted by Immigration Department;

Send the visa approval letter via email to you after 1-2 working day(s)

Service fee needs paying in full in advance to process the visa approval letter in 1 working day (urgent service) or 2 working days (normal service) and 4 working hours (super urgent service).
