Vietnam Visa Requirement for US and Indian citizens on cruise to Vietnam

Hi. We are planning to visit Hue/ Danang (Chan May) by cruise. It starts from Hong Kong and we will go to Hue/ Danang (Chan May) from a day. I would like to know if Indian and US citizens need to apply for visa? Do we apply for visa online?

Please be informed that both of you need to get a visa for Vietnam. However, you cannot apply for Vietnam visa online as this kind of visa is for those traveling to Vietnam by air only.

In this case, you should contact the cruise line to ask whether they can arrange the visa for you or not. Otherwise, you will need to apply for visa at Vietnam Embassy in Hong Kong or in any place which is most convenient for you.
