Visa stamping fee to decrease by over 40% from November 23, 2015

It is November 4, 2015 and Vietnamvisa.hk is very happy to announce that it is only 18 days left and all VOA users will be entitled to lower stamping fees (fee to pick up visa on arrival in Vietnam). As officially announced by the Ministry of Finance under the Circular No. 157/2015/TT-BTC providing the regime of collection, payment, management of fees for issuance of passports, visas, documents related to entry, exit, transit and residence in Vietnam, the visa stamping fee will be cut down by over 40%. Accordingly, the new fees will be:

  • US $25 for a single entry visa; and
  • US $50 for a multiple entry visa which is valid for up to 3 months.

This is a move of Vietnam to attract more tourists to the country. It is also great news for all travelers to Vietnam using visa on arrival. When the Circular takes effect on November 23, 2015, it is not only convenient but also economic to obtain a visa on arrival.

So, how to get a visa on arrival for Vietnam?

  • Step 1: Submit the online application at Vietnamvisa.hk;
  • Step 2: Pay service fee;
  • Step 3: Get approval letter via email;
  • Step 4: Get visa stamped at point of entry in Vietnam airport.
